Creation of a comprehensive paediatric surgery department, including an operating theatre, a recovery room, the expansion of the inpatient ward, and an appatam for families. This project made it possible to double the capacity for admission and care (from 28 to 44 beds). The department was fully equipped with appropriate biomedical equipment, fitted with a computerized maintenance system, including training and awareness-raising for the teams.
