Sustainable Children Surgery implements a strategy based on three pillars of action:
- Design and support of tailored programs, based on a deep understanding of the local context and oriented towards the sustainable strengthening of the pediatric surgical ecosystem;
- Expertise and technical support: offering global and specific support to beneficiary countries and our partners, in order to strengthen the quality, safety, and sustainability of surgical care;
- Advocacy and awareness: promoting better recognition of pediatric surgery within public health policies and the international community.
Our objectives
- Guaranteeing access to safe and sustainable pediatric surgical care for all children, particularly in low- and middle-income countries;
- Contributing to the strengthening of healthcare systems, by placing pediatric surgery at the heart of health priorities;
- Promoting equity and health justice, by defending the right of every child to benefit from surgical treatment adapted to their needs.
