Advocacy
Sustainable Children Surgery conducts active advocacy with health authorities and national institutions to have paediatric surgery recognised as a discipline in its own right and fully integrated into public health policies.
This approach is based on an analysis of hospital capacities, the collection of reliable data and the mobilisation of stakeholders. The objective is to support the development of practical national strategies, including strengthening human resources, improving infrastructure, optimising care practices and planning the investments required for a sustainable paediatric surgical system.
We also take part in numerous international conferences to promote our projects, share our approach and strengthen collaborations, thereby contributing to better institutional recognition of paediatric surgery at national and international level.
